Angola LNG sells its first condensate cargo
Soyo, Angola, 8 April 2014: Angola LNG today announced the sale of its first condensate cargo from its plant in Soyo, the facility built to create value from Angola’s offshore gas resources.
The first cargo was sold to Sonangol on a Free on Board (FOB) Soyo basis and safely loaded onto the M/T Fortune Victoria tanker.
All LPG and condensate products have been committed for sale to the shareholder affiliates of Angola LNG.
Commenting on the first condensate cargo Artur Pereira, CEO, Angola LNG Marketing said: “The loading and sale of the first condensate cargo marks a further landmark for Angola LNG. We have now produced and sold all of our different types of product – LNG, LPG, domestic butane, and now condensate.”
Angola LNG Limited is an incorporated joint venture between Sonangol, Chevron, BP, ENI and Total that will gather and process gas to produce and deliver LNG and NGLs. The plant has an expected duration of at least 30 years.

Angola LNG ships first cargo
Soyo, Angola, 16 June 2013: Angola LNG, the Soyo-based facility built to create value from Angola's offshore gas resources, confirms that production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) has safely commenced at the Angola LNG plant in Soyo and that its first cargo has been shipped today. This marks the first new LNG supply to come on-stream since 2010, and provides a new source to meet the increasing global demand for LNG.
The first cargo was sold to Angola's state oil & gas company Sonangol and is currently being shipped to Brazil by the SS Sonangol Sambizanga, one of seven 160,000 m³ LNG vessels that are under long-term charter to the Angola LNG project.

First Angola LNG cargo delivered
Soyo, Angola, 24 July 2013: Angola LNG has delivered its first cargo to Brazil. The 160,000 m3 cargo - which left Soyo aboard the SS SONANGOL SAMBIZANGA last month - has been safely unloaded at Petrobras' regasification terminal in Guanabara Bay, Rio de Janeiro.
Commenting on the first cargo delivery Artur Pereira, CEO, Angola LNG Marketing Ltd. said: "Our main priority is safe and reliable production and delivery of Angolan LNG to the world. We have demonstrated this with our first cargo."
